Wilbur Cross, James Hillhouse & Metropolitan Academy Education Pathway students visited the CT Children’s Museum on Wednesday, November 5th. Students were able to explore experiential rooms based on Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, a concept that they studied in their SCSU EDU200 course!

The entire Ross Woodward School school community wore pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. We collected donations for the CT Breast Initiative Institute and raised $235 dollars! We also made bracelets for patients going through treatments at Smilow Cancer Hospital . Thank you to everyone who donated funds and beads for these bracelets! Go Pink! #NHPS







Ross Woodward held its annual Book Character Parade. Students in grades pre-K through 4th paraded through our halls, and our 5-8th graders clapped them along! We even had our Ross Woodward Drumline dropping some amazing beats to dance to! Thank you to all the families who attend our event! #NHPS

Edgewood School celebrated #Halloween with a K-2 outdoor parade for families followed by an indoor parade for our 3-8 students to see our youngest learners in their costumes. #NHPS

iPad Artist Raheem Nelson came in today to work with Metropolitan’s Jenna Gannon's Publication Design & Media Production class. Mr. Nelson is going to work with students to provide the cover art to the Metro Community Cookbook.

Today was Metropolitan Business Academy' Experience of the year. During Metro Experience a variety of workshops are offered to students. Metro faculty and staff were workshop facilitators.
Over 60% of Metro students sign up for the Experiences of their choice.

Bilingual students in grades 1 through 4 at Truman School had a spectacular day at Rose's Orchard! They enjoyed a classic fall experience, complete with fun tractor rides, searching for the perfect apples, and navigating the twisty turns of the hay maze.
